Description:
We are looking for an analytical, passionate email and social marketing specialist to help us
promote our products via targeted email marketing and other online channels including Facebook
and Twitter. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing messaging for email and social marketing,
direct marketing, and/or other marketing collateral. This position will be responsible for managing
our overall consumer marketing strategy and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage our social media marketing strategy and tool including Twitter and Facebook
• Own our email marketing and external blog strategy
• Create content for blogs, email newsletters and Twitter / Facebook posts
• Responsible for driving traffic to the travel websites
• Manage and promote contests and sweepstakes
• Develop and implement advertising strategy
• Assist in overall management of marketing programs: create project plans, ensure milestones are met, analyze program effectiveness, and communicate project status to team
Job Requirements:
• One to three years of related work experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• BA or BS in marketing, communication, public relations or a related field
• Prior work experience with social media marketing
• Strong design eye and attention to detail
• The ability to be flexible and work independently
Nice to Have:
• Experience in the airline or travel industry
• Experience with Google Analytics
